I am going to be starting my TH400 swap. I want to try and use the stock shifter, I have read posts where everyone says to remove the gate mechanism between 1st and 2nd after removing the shifter, my question is exactly how do you remove the shifter? There is a mess of rods and cables. Which bolts actually hold the shifter in and how many are there? Thanks in advance.

Wasn't that bad. 15 minutes at the most after i got the **** off.
