Multimedia Exchange - LS3 Trans Am RUNS!!!

I have been in the process of doing a LS3 swap into my 01 Trans Am for the past month and a half and it has finally paid off... or I am finally broke, haha!

But it's done and boy was it worth it! The car sounds absolutely amazing and mean :evil: The car currently is just Hearders with extensions off the back so I don't F with the O2 readings. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the start-up!!!

After the second heat cycle I changed the oil and there was hardly anything at all in the oil. I did really try to keep it as clean as I could during assembly and it must have paid off. The Lingenfelter TRG-001 Converter Box worked flawlessly and the mail order tune I got from Speed Inc. is way good enough for start up and break in. I will be going to Speed In.c on Tuesday to get a complete dyno tune so I will post up dyno sheets when I get home from them.

Yes a corvette LS3 and as far as price I am not sure I traded a LS1/A4 Combo for the LS3 Long block minus intake and a TH-400.

The car looks and sounds great, however used to have that car must have taken good care of it...lol. I'm glad you got her running great. No lie I made the old lady watch the videos with me she cried the whole time. That is the car I had when I met her. I gotta admit I got a little choked up myself. I debated selling her for along time. Now I wish I would have built her. I'm glad she went to a good home however. Congrats on the build.

No, No Nitrous for now. The ring kit doesn't fit over the 90mm TB. :D

Yea he is really good, he does my tuning. I hadnt talked to him all week and Friday he said oh yea I tuned a LS3 trans am this week. I started describing the car and then told him I had seen it on here. :lol:
