Midwestern Members - WHO TRADED THERE BLACK T.a for a GREEN C5???

it is a 99 black trans am.. convertible.. black wheels.. in bradley, illinois. 90,000 miles.. they said the person was from fort wayne indiana.

line lock, transbrake, used to have a nitrous setup.. 42 lb inj.

someone traded it in.. AND i took it for a 24hour test drive..

the car ran strong.. i just need to know what is in the motor.. it has a cam for sure..

nasty headers, cutout.. that was blocked off. looks like it had a different brake setup in the front.. maybe for skinnies? red guages on the pillar.

what gear? stall? cam?

it went 12.7 at 109 mph. with a very weak. 2.0 60'...... street tires.. and a transbrake didn't go well..lol

i just NEEd to know what is all done and how much they gave you for it..

the dealer told me that he was from fort wayne, no.. the intake was changed.. it now has a stock ls1... i think he parted the car out. it also had a cutout on it.. but he blocked it off and sold the cutout seperate.. also had a strut tower brace which was removed.. you can see where it was and he put new nuts on the bolts..lol

i'm thinking about buying this car.. i just need to know more.

That car is hacked to hell. It's like a 3-5k car at the most.

lol... no crap.. the old owner told me the dealer "said that they gave him 4500 for it"... but we all know they probably didn't really give crap. i told them everything that was wrong with it etc... besides the interior being decent.. car needs work.. they won't budge on 8900 bucks... if they sold it for 3-4 g's.. i would already own it.

my buddy works at hove i can see if he can find out how much they gave for the car. The green c5 was nice i looked at it one day.

lol... the c5 has been around quite a bit. i'm picking it back up this week.. the typhoon .. the trans took a shit on me.. and its in the garage.. i pulled the transmission, transfter case etc.. outta it... gonna do a turbo 400 with a brake.... nothing like leaving the line with 15 psi and 680 ft lbs ;)

do i know you? what mods do you have on your camaro? i've been looking for some people to go cruising with but down here its hard to find anyone.

Ha thats Dougs old car. I did the header install and cam install years ago before he started doing his own work. After that Im not sure what all got done to it. Thats been along while back. :nod:
