Default 06 vette ls1...what tranny?
hi, I i just need a quick question answered. What 6 speed t56 transmissions will bolt right up to this motor (06 vette ls1) other than the corvette ones. Please be specific make and year of vehicle etc. Thanks

06 vette have the ls2 are you doing a swap need more info

Guys, 2005-2007 C6's have an LS2. 2008+ C6's have the LS3, 1997-2004 C5's have the LS1.

Any LS1 F-body T-56 will bolt up to the LS1, LS2 and LS3. It's all in the bellhousing.

sry the ad said it was an ls1...yes i am doing a swap and i cannot use the corvette tranny because of the mounting. Its going in a 93 rx7 fd.

you need a 98+ t56 for a fbody with bellhousing.....

i think a cts-v and maybe even ss-r trans would work too
