I have a 02 t/a w/ torquer v3, ls6 intake, full boltons, m6 w/ textralia, full suspension, 275 gs-d3s.

I ran a 12.7@116.7 last time at the track with slipping stock clutch and old bald tires.

Since then i put the textralia, green tops, and gs-d3s on along with a wet kit up to 150 shot. I have been running 75 hits but want to step up a bit and i also got a bottle warmer.

What can I expect to run at 75 shot and up?

Will i even be able to use the 150 shot on street tires?

You need a 9in and some DR's lol. Lmk when your goin to the track ive been wanting to go on my new n20 setup, as long as you dont go to Lapeer lol you should be able to hit high 11's on the 75 shot

I couldnt cut any good times with just bolt ons w/o drag radials. With the 150 shot i have on the car now im spinning the tires in 3rd gear with the n20... dont buy BFG drag radials haha. But a 100 shot is going to net you anywhere from 5-8 MPH generally in the 1/4.

9 inch and hoosiers and your easy mid 10s

did you upgrade your fuel pump? i wouldnt run a 150 shot without doing so. I would also recommend locking out 1st gear if you are able too. If you somehow got the car to hook on a 150 shot, it will most likely damage the 10 bolt. How are your 60's off the spray?

It's my understanding that the V3 is not an ideal cam to spray on.

i'd be willing to bet 12.6-.8@120-1 on a 75 shot
13.3-.5ish on a 150 shot

All you're going to do is spin.

The mph will be good though.

It's gonna be spin city on street tires....ask me how I know.

You'll probably still trap mid 120s and I wouldn't doubt it if the car went 130 with a tire on it.

i agree, i have heard the huge intake lift is not ideal for nitrous and a close buddy who had a very sweet nitrous set-up ( all the safety stuff, window switch, WOT switch, fuel pressure safety switch) and a great tuner had some kind of connecting rod failure and resulting cracked block spraying an 85 shot on a V3.

ive ridden in phenomic's car and with his custom tuning that thing pulls HARD on a 75 shot. It pulls hard N/A, his tune is spot on at WOT.

what does the intake lift have to do with a connecting rod failure? I agree that cam is a little aggressive on the intake lift but whats that got to do with nitrous?

I dont think a 150 shot is going to get you much further than the 75 until fourth gear personally, and by that point why bother for an extra tenth... I say bottom 12s N/A and 11.6s on the spray (at shithole lapeer)

I dont know exactly but this should be the section for someone to clarify that. I have heard this more then once before but no one seems to elaborate. And considering the motor failure with a V3 and an 85 shot i figured it was worth mentioning.

Yes the intake lift is excessive, but nitrous seems to work on anything.

I dont see how big intake lift + spray would cause a connecting rod failure. Im willing to bet he incorrect timing and the cylinder fired at the wrong time.

yes i understand that, but, he wasn't spraying at the time of failure and the motor only had about 40k on it. it was a factory low mileage car but maintenance wasn't the issue bc he owned it since almost new. Im not saying the V3 was the direct cause, just trying to clarify the issue a little for anyone else that may wonder. Also the tuner for this car is very known around here and does outstanding work, and actually is my tuner as well. And like i said all the safety features were in place.
