4l60e wont rev past 2k. a 4l60e in a 2000 camaro i have wont rev past 2k rpm. it acts like a transbrake when you floor it but wont release. the trans is a newer rebuild. anyone have an issue like this?

When I had my old 4l60e rebuilt by a junk builder it did the same thing I would try and stall it up and it would just sit at 2000rpm and not do anything. It turned out that he had put a non ls1 style stator support and it was either to long to to short I forget changed the stator support to the right one ls1 style and it worked then.
