My LQ4 turned out to be a LQ9 I brought home the LQ engine today from my buddy's for my mustang. I thought it was a LQ4 but when I pulled the head here is what I found!
Now I'm gonna slap on my cnc ported 853's, find a cam, victor junior intake and a carb!

The last picture is exactly what it looked like when I pulled the head off!
The passenger side had some carbon buildup but it wiped right off, the drivers side was spotless.. Not sure how that happened.
