Default battery (lightweight)

i was just thinking about useing a jumper pack battery as a racing battery
i know it would run the car.
but would the charging system blow it up?

why have the charging system hooked up to the battery for the drag run. Just have the battery hooked up to run the engine for the run.

because 14.5 volts is better than 12 volts or less.
and i think it takes a lot of current to run a LS2

first the jumper pack is 1/3 the price , and second i already have the jumper pack.
