Generation IV Internal Engine - ls2 rods the same as lq9?

i have an ls2 that needs a rod and a friend of mine has rods and pistons laying around from a lq9 6.0 from a silverado ss. i was just wondering if they were the same. the ls2 is from a 2007 tb ss. i am like 75% sure they're the same but just checking.

If you use a rod from 2007 up 6.0 you'll get the same rod as the 2007 LS2. The 2006 6.0 and earlier uses different rods. Part number for the rods 2007 and up is 12617570.
