Default Thinking of a 383 forged stroker.

Ok, I'm new to forced induction but eager to learn. I've decided that I either want to stroke my LS1 out to a 383 with forged internals or get a Buick Grand National and just sit on my T/A. My main question is how much would something like this run and where could I start to find parts for such a project. If the price is going to skyrocket out of control I think I'll just buy a Grand National and build the hell out of that over the years while I get my T/A back to showroom condition and just let is appreciate. Anyway, just a bit lost in all of this, looking for some insight.

you need to decide on what sort of power you want to achieve, then what sort of budget you actually have.

Things always cost more than you plan. What sort of power deilvery are you after ? What is the car used for ?

might be better off buying an ls2 402 and sell your current setup to recoup some of the money.

I could have an initial budget of about 8000 dollars and then more as time goes on.
