clunking trans??

Default clunking trans??

i have a 2000 ta with a t56 i just changed the torque arm bushing and trans mount and checked my torque arm when i shift if i let off the clutch to fast i get a clunking sound is that normal or can i do something to change this it really bothers me. maybe motor mounts they are stock with 41k on them

was teh noise their BEFORE you changed TQ arm bush? Or just after?

WEll, normallly a motor mount problem you will notice when you "accelerate" instead of "decelerating". Are you sure it is not coming from rear end?

Got the exact same problem after pulling the trans to install new clutch. Some have said the trans mount may be loose, I will check it this weekend. If you find out what it is before then let me know.

positive and its before and after the install and i just got a new clutch its better but still there

k i removed the center console and rubber boot and took it out for a drive the trans was not moving it seemed like it was the exhaust or tq arm any ideas?
