Default Ac fan problem

I wasnt sure where exactly to ask this so i just threw it in here. My ac works perfectly fine and cools pretty well but after its been on for a while, about 45 min to an hour or so the fan tends to shut off. There will still be air coming out of the vents and the air is still cold but it comes out at a very low speed. Adjusting the fan speeds does change the speed of the air but the air is still coming out very slow, even at max speed.

Sometimes, the fans will begin to work again after letting them sit for a while. this problem only occurs while driving for a while, never occurs at start up.

Anybody have a clue on whats going on?

Thanks

Sounds like the evaporator might be freezing up. Check the charge.

Ditto what was just stated. Evaporator will freeze with a low charge and once iced up little to no air can pass across the evaporator thus little to no air out of the vents.

Have the charge checked then recharge(should be 2.0lbs r134a) and throw some dye in the system to track a possible leak and should work like a champ. About a week or so later have it checked with a UV light for leaks.
