Default Need help where to buy long wheel studs or lug nuts for spacers

What's the correct wheel stud lengh on the f body? I have a 96 Camaro , will need to use 1/2" spacers and don't know where to get the longer studs or the deeper/longer lug nuts.

Any help/Links will be greatly appreciated. Found some on jegs but don't know what's the stud lengh on my car to compare ones they sell on their site.

P.S : Is it tough to remove those studs ?

Why are you needing longer studs?

Drag setup?

Front of the car or rear?

Are you using Prostars?

The standard wheel stud for our cars is 12mm X 1.50" with a .509 knurl diameter and 1.5" length.

Normally when people start changing studs it's to accomodate a spacer and NHRA regulations. If this is indeed your case then go and buy the ARP 3.25 12mm X 1.5 (ARP Part number 100-7713) Because, the 2.5" length will not satisfy the NHRA requirments.

You pound the stock studs out with a Hammer. Pulling the new ones through is a little more difficult. I had new hubs so I did it on my bench with a good impact and the stock lug nuts since i was throwing them away anyway.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Good luck,

~Jim~
