Default How much is it for window tint ticket????

I recently got a ticket for my window tint being too dark, and also one for having the eye brow on the wind shield too low. How much would both tickets cost me?????

A Dallas County Constable wrote me a ticket for $300 for my side windows being only 3% too dark. I was under the impression they allow a 3% margin of error on their equipment. Regardless I have scheduled a court date to go infront of the judge with the reciept for re-tinting the windows to a legal darkness.

Got one for 5% tint. It was going to be $165. Went to court with tint taken off, cop walked out to check out the car. Ticket dismissed only cost $20.

My wife got ticketed out here in Katy by a state trooper for the side windows being too dark. All we had to do was replace the tint with legal and show the court proof. That would have cost us $10. Long story short,we ran into the trooper in autozone and he pulled the ticket since we were now legal.

Even after my wife's "ordeal" I still have 5% on the sides and back. I plan on getting legal soon. But, knowing myself, I will wait until right after I'm ticketed.
