ls6 clutch or ls7
i have a 2000 camaro ss with bolt ons with 50k on stock clutch,i just want to upgrade a clutch for about 500 ,and the car will see a little track time
i heard alot of good things about the ls7 clutch, but will it bolt right up
how much better is it than a ls6 clutch,i think they are about the same price
also which master cylinder and slave cylinder should i get
with my car being a 2000 would a fatory 01-02 master and slave work better than mine.or can i just do the drill mod to mine, thanks in advance

Get the LS7 clutch its much stronger than the LS6. It will bolt right up with a LS2 flywheel, you can get the package for like $460 total.
Yes, go with the 01-02 master and slave, they are an upgrade over the 98-00

If you are choosing between the two get the LS7. That is what is in my car and is surviving daily use with my turbo's. I replaced the hydraulics when I put that in the car with the 01-02 master and slave. I also did the drill mod at that time. No complaints here. I DD the car in the warm weather. I have taken it to a few track rentals with my car club and have had zero issues. Hell, one rental I made 8 passes that day and then drove home with the A/C on.

thanks for all the advice,i think when i do change it i will go with the ls7 and uprade my master and slave cylinders to 01-02,
my clutch felt like it was slipping when i put sticky tires on it,or it could of been the master cylinder not letting the fluid go through it fast enough,i never did the drill mod,so im not sure what it was
