Default Cam Install

After installing my cam with the correct torque specs I noticed one small thing that slightly concerns me.

The cam is installed with the timing chain and everything and there is a slight amount of play not in the sprocket but in the cam itself. It will slide back and forth ever so slightly nothing major less than .005" just enough to make me wonder as you can pull it off the rear of the block and push it back against this small amount.

I don't know if this is built in for expansion it just slightly concerns me.

Also I have a cloyes timing set and the hex adjustable bushing never gets completely locked in place even with the cam retaining bolts torqued correctly. It's not going to go anywhere as it's geometry holds it between the cam and the sprocket and you can't rotate it more than a few degrees but like I said it doesn't get locked down.

Thanks
