engine vs gear vs diff vs water vs xxx coolers Well, the title might sound a little vague, but here goes.
Im trying to figure out if there is anyway (by visual inspection) to know what you're dealing with, I see many shops locally sell "oil coolers" but they dont know what the hell they're used for, and im pretty sure there are specific coolers for specific jobs.
Also, is there such a thing as an oil thermostat that could be installed in the oil cooler lines, a friend of mine with a track car and dual oil coolers has to run his car for 30minutes before he could race due to the fact his oil temps dont seem to want to increase.
Any help would be appreciated.
