Default Valve seal recommendations

I have all the symptoms of "f"d up valveseals and I'm going to replace them. Right now, I have the ones patriot gives you with the gold spring kit on the car that someone else assembled.

What are the best seals to get, GM(different intake/exhaust pn#'s) or some aftermarket?

Do I really need the expensive fbody low profile spring compressor?
I've read all the "how to's". Just looking for some opinions...

Thanks!

The GM ones are actually quite good. Patriot sells them for a buck 25 a piece on their website. Those are the ones I always use. https://www.patriot-performance.com/...ome.php?cat=51

GM seals are tops, fit well and seal well. As for the compressor, someone on here rents the Crane if you don't want to buy one, but for an f-body with those difficult to access back cylinders it is the right tool for the job.

Are these the ones with "NOK" on them?
