Default Those running ET streets...

What pressure do you guys run them at??

I have 26" and today I tried 18psi down to 15psi and could not hook for ****. On the 15psi run I could feel the sidewall flop from side to side and didn't like it so I went back to ~17 and just left it and tried massive John Force burn outs and still no luck.

A bud told me to go down to like 10 or lower and I was just thinking 15psi was bad, I can only imagine what 10psi would be like.

Thanks.

Depends on which ones you have, e/t street dot slicks or e/t street radials
I usually run mine at around 13 for the et street slicks

They are not slicks, but I do see "DOT" on the tire. I know they are not the DR's though.

I ran my Hoosier 275' drag radials at the same track last year and hooked every damn time. So, just trying to figure these tires out or thinking the track prep was **** today.

Those are the same ones I had, try running them at around 13. Thats my opinion.

These are my new ones that I am hoping will hook like the ET streets:

I think those are very similar to the ET Streets... I loved the hoosier drag radials, but 2 damn times to the track and it was bald as ****. A very soft tire to say the least.

Ill try it next time, I just felt how it was at ~15psi out of the hole and was a tad on the scared side. It just seemed as I was skating on the rim.

I run the M/T ET streets 26x16x11.5 at 12-13 lbs and have been happy with the results. The first few times to run them was a little different but you get used to them pretty quick.

I have ran the tire down at 12lbs and didnt like how it felt on the big end. I never tried 18lbs but I had the best luck in between 14 and 15. Maybe the track prep was just bad that day.

I tried mine at 15psi at Fontana last week and launched ok but getting to the end of teh track was pretty unstable. I felt best at 17-18psi although I still was very unhappy with the launch but it was more me than the car.
