Default first time @ the track

ran at Rocky Mountain Race Way for the first time ever... over all it was fun. a supercharged 30th Anniversary T/A and i were the first two to run at the midnight drags. nothing like two LOUD extinct birds !! making our presence know. my buddy cody said i had a bad *** burn out on run #1 and the crowd was roaring... 2nd run not the greatest and i got yelled at for not shutting her down fast enough after passing the 1/4mile line and i through in the towel after that. and after run 1 i was told by track officials that i need a helmet if i wanted to continue. the father of the kid driving the T/A was nice enough to send his other son to get the extra so i could race again.

run 1: ........... run2:
R/T: .565 ....... .557
60': 2.112 ........ 2.177
330: 5.662 ........5.854
1/8: 8.588 .......8.777
MPH: 86.33 .......85.72
1000: 11.055 ......11.250
1/4: 13.103 .......13.308
MPH: 108.61 .......108.27

Rocky Mountain raceway.... I don't know where that is, but I'd guess CO. Which would mean his DA was probably in the 8000s. Its a big eye opener when you start racing in significant DA. My truck runs 12s in anything under 2500. I'd bet I'm well in the 14s out in CO...

On the DT site, since when do S/C and T/C vehicles run worse in bad DA. I have always understood that was your ticket to cancelling out the terrible elevation????
