Default T-Top Water Leak

On my wife's 98 Z-28, there's a water leak towards the back portion of the door. I was told that there was a simple solution to this years ago, but i can't remember what that was. The car has no body twisting issues. Can anyone please advise? Thanks!!

Common problem for these cars. My 02 has done it since I bought it. You didn't say but does it leak all the time or only during extremely heavy rain or washing. I have only heard to fix it was to replace the entire rubber piece just above the door jam that rests against the window. Mine leaks a few drops on the driver side when I wash it so I am in no hurry to fix it. Maybe someone else can chime in on this. Hope this helps.

Is there a gap between the window and the rubber?

No gap at all. When the doors close, we can hear a "good seal".

When you take the t-tops off there's two screws you can tighten where the t-top glass connects too. I had to tighten mine recently because it was leaking.

my94 did it and my 2000 always has. just a drop or two in heavy rain or washing it. didn't seem enough of a problem to investigate a fix. I think i keep it so i can laugh at the look on the face of my passenger when they think they might have felt something drop on them but really aren't sure.

I had the bottom edge of the t-top gasket start leaking so I squeezed some silicone in there and that fixed my leak.

Shutzero, it just sounds like your t-top isn't seating fully tight. Check the metal mounts (behind the plastic covers), they may need adjusted downwards a little to press onto the seals tighter.
