Default Need you alls help !!!!

My car has this noise that lately has been getting more and more on my nerves than usual. It's sort of a hissing maybe ticking noise. It's mainly heard when I'm at 2400 or higher on the RPMs at any gear. Would a vacuum cause this? Valve train has been checked. Rockers checked and tightened to 22 ft lbs. Everything in the heads looked great. Would a vacuum leak cause bad idling. I think it idles like **** cause its humid but who knows. New plugs, wires were good. All maintaince has been done. If anyone could shine some light on my annoying issue I would be really appreciate it. Thanks guys

Vacuum leaks directly effect your idle quality.

Check all hoses and check for cracks in the intake or any plastic fitting for those hoses.

Also, a loose hose for the TB or bellows letting unmetered air in downstream of the MAF can mess with the idle quality.

In the back of the LS1 intake I remember a hose on my old intake had a closed elbow or "T" if you will and on the LS6 intake I bought it had that piece open. Could that leak be causing this issue? Anyone one know what Im talking about?

Depends on if someone spliced a new hose in. I can reach back there and lift mine upward and see the whole T fitting and the plug.
