Default Zero Oil Pressure

Can a messed up O-Ring make Zero oil pressure? I remember a while back a friend did a cam install and the o-ring got pinched and it made really low pressure.

Car had been sitting for quite a while, and just got put back together.

I drove it, ran fine and had good oil pressure.

Turned it on again and now there is zero pressure. The Oil Pressure Sending unit does not feel broken, but I'm willing to buy a new one of need be.

Any thoughts on the problem? Is there any way to manually check the oil pressure? ie: Verify there is oil pressure, so it must be the sending unit.

Thanks

Yes sir, a messed up o-ring will kill your pressure, but since you have already run the car once and the pressure was fine, kinda throws that idea out.
