speedometer hook up?!

The speedometer hookup doesn't go directly to the tranny. There is a pin on the PCM that outputs the correct signal for the speedometer. What year harness and PCM are you using?

Similar problem here, I took it out of my harness because I'm using all autometer. Should not have. Anyone have any spare wires you removed with the ends for the PCM? I threw mine away...

I'm not sure if with that year 240, but you may need the Universal speedometer interface from dakota digital. All the threads I've read say they were needed, so you will probably need one also.
