Default strange center whining, less then 350 miles (9")

like it says, the rear was fine, did the proper break in, heat cycles, and all that good stuff.. around 300 miles of being easy on it, i decided to get on it alittle bit, 3k launch, on a street tire, slippin it.. it spun, didnt shock it, went thru the gears. then i noticed about 10 miles it started to whine. friend of mine said his does it too, another one of my buddys says his whines but not that loud.. mine is decent at around 60mph.. i can put the clutch in and it stops, no matter wat mph im at.

anything to be worryed about? im kinda upset cuz i just spent all this money on this junk and its like this!

mine seems pretty loud, but ive removed the back seats, and my friend said that doing that will make it seem louder, hope so! he said his is as loud with his rear seats removed.

i was concerned so i drained the fluild, and not a thing came out, no shavings or anything.

yeah im sure the seats arnt helpin the noise, but i think its definitly fine, i just accepted the fact that i have a near bulletproof rear and its GONNA make some noise even though sometimes its very very loud but its fine unless u buy a new gearset and install them but its not guaranteed the noise will go away.

Something in the gear case moved. Bad setup. Fix it or buy another gear set.

update, went to the garage to clean up from the other night. i drained the fluid and put fresh in it. well like i said, i was cleanin up and went to drain the pan from the rearend fluid change. everything looked normal expect when it got to the bottom, there was some left in the pan, but also there was some tiny tiny shavins in there. almost looked like some one had put glitter in it?

anyone?!?! lol

You can expect to see some metallic particles with any new set of gears, it happens as they break in. Bob
