Hey all,

This is my best pass on my first night out with the D1-SC. The car was all over the place all night, and this was the only run I stayed in it all the way through. I'm sure she'll be down in the 6's when I get the bugs worked out. With radial fronts and bias ply rears the car just wanted to look at the wall on every shift, so I was granny shifting. The launch was pretty soft, too. With a good launch, traction in 1st gear, and some enthusiastic shifting, I think she'll be in the 6's pretty safely.

The vid isnt uploading for me. What did you run? My car was doing the same thing when I went to the track. I also have a D1SC car. My only full pass was a 11.2 slamming on the brakes at 83mph. lol

video didnt work. my gto is all over the place also. spins through 3rd and have yet to get better then a 1.9 60ft. best pass to date is a 12.25 at 113mph. i also have a really rich tune as it is a mail order one from epp (about 10.5 on the a/f gauge). would like to take the filter off to see if it picks up any. heard the filter on the gto is way to small, and knocks down about 2 psi of what it should be.

Might get a better launch driving away from your burnout instead of stoping first.

I did that the first run. As soon as I let off the line lock the tires grabbed and damn near stalled the car. I was a little gun shy about it after that. I always drive away from my burnout in my dad's Nova, but it doesn't grab as violently as the TA did. The slicks were starting to push the front tires while the line lock was still on, in fact.
