Default Stock torque converter in a 2700lb car?

Hey guys, I'm doing a budgetish 5.3/ 4l60e swap into a 73 Datsun 240z and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on using a stock converter. Will it stall extremely low since the car is so light? Cause any drivability problems? The car will mainly just be a cruiser but it needs to be a joy to drive around town, that's the main thing the guy I am building it is concerned with. I'm wondering if the cost of an aftermarket converter is worth it for him. It weights 2700lbs with no one in it right now with an old school iron SBC and 700r4. It will have around 320rwhp i am figuring... Any thoughts?
