Is a y-pipe with a cutout somewhat as loud as td x-pipe? I'm in a serious dilemma of what i should get for my camaro, I'm looking to get lt's and an exhaust system this summer as soon as possible but just can't decide.

id say its as loud yes, but does it sound as good??? in my opinion not at all, if you want the sound id go true duals

Id definately go true dual X-pipe i have it on mine with turndowns right before the rearend and it sounds great

I say go true duals. I have them and they sound Bas ***. Mine are over the axle because TDs blow too much dust for me and im a clean freak. TDs sound awesome just dusty. I had TDs and I had to ditch them.

speaking from experience with both, currently have ORY/cutout. duals sound "proper", IMO y-pipes and cutouts sound too obnoxious. yes they are loud but are kinda like the bench player when you really want the superstar. but if you are gonna have anything other than LT's, i'd just go with a y-pipe/catback.

thanks for the sugg. Im most likely going to get an electric cutout if i do y-pipe.
