Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Question

What's the prefered place to tap into for vacuum for a fuel pressure regulator? What method is most common, like tapping into the line or cutting it an inserting a t?

What kinda setup are we dealing with here? Front mount regulator with a port to hook it up for boost/vacuum?

I left mine vented to atmosphere, and set my IFR table in the PCM accordingly.

front mount with port for boost/vacuum. I'd rather not have to take it to get retuned.

Well...the stock in tank regulator isn't referenced to manifold pressure, unless I'm overlooking something here.
