LS-6 Intake
I am getting ready to buy a 80 mm MAF, and a Throttle Body summit has several listed. Should I get the BBK, TrickFlow, Holley, Or The Summit Brand One please help I have just about got my intake on. Trying to finish up this project for a bit so I can get my car back on road.

Honestly take my advice and the advice of others that will chime in.....DO NOT waste your money on that MAF no matter what gains they say you will get....it is proven time and time again that they dont help, most of the time hurt your performance.......I would not get a new throttle body either. Why not like teke said just have it ported by one of our sponsers. Stock ported TB with LS6 intake is a great set up. Camaro Crazy....you would be spending so much money on mods that arent going to help you on your basic bolt ons. Go get some long tube headers...exhaust....Lid....and even a pulley and really see gains. Put your money were you will notice a difference. And honesty I would not go with any of those TB's...Look around here at some of our sponsers..great TB'S and prices. Good Luck...and remember this is my opinion.

LS1 dos and dont article says you dont need a bigger MAF. i think the main issue is if your car doesnt have a tune the 85mm MAF will lean out your A/F ratio. so my book dyno proven performance shows a granitelli gaining 10 hp however the way they did that was tune the car to 12.5 A/F then with the lean out A/F dropped to 13.0:1 which gained 10 hp. you decide if its worth it, i dont know. ps on a stock engine i can see it throwing a code from being to lean without a tune.

Go *$#& yourself San Diego!
Camaro, dont even buy a ported and plished stocker.....go to http://www.neweraperformanceparts.com/ and go to fbodys and go to the area where you send them yours. Its so much cheaper and you know you will get a non broken shitty tb back because it will be yours. I wouldnt trust someone else port job. So Im kinda telling you DONT buy the ebay one. DO this yourself. I got your back. Have fun...Good luck.
