Default rear end clunking...

1st off, it is a stock 10 bolt..The rear end clunks when I turn left at slow speeds (in parking lots) at first it sounded like it was comming from the passanger side, so i looked under the car and my adjustable panhard rod looked tight along with the torque arm. My fear is that the rear is taking a **** on me. One would think it has been running on borrowed time allready with the mods I have in the sig. Any ideas?

sounds liked the posi unit might be bad. I had a bad posi that I cracked the internal gears in crunch going around tight corners.

You might be able to get away with just replacing the differential. Good luck.

I bet you've got carrier teeth clingin to the magnet. Mine did the last time I had the cover off, and I just put it back together, about 20k miles ago... minus a few teeth, since I just drive it and don't launch or race it... yet. You can hear/feel it clunk around a corner, especially if your taking off from a stop and turning at the same time.

Welcome to the club Don't bother fixing it unless you want to break another one
