Default Anyone ever convert t-tops to hard top?

Been thinking of doing this. I have a hard top 2002 B4C thats probably headed for the crusher when it's done sitting in my back yard.

I don't see any problem with cutting the outer roof frame pieces off and welding them on the t-top car. They can't do much other than hold the weather strip in place since a t-top car just doesn't have anything there.

The roof panel just cuts off like a windshield, with a wire pulled back and forth around the glue beads. Then it would just get glued back on the other car.

Anyone do this?

I guess thats a "no but I painted my brake calipers red"?
Does anyone actually do paint and body work around here. I mean like cutting, welding, all the way to paint.

Anyone own a $250 spray gun, or do you all just use cans?

I have a feeling I asked the wrong crowd.

I'm sure its possible if you have the skills, but I don't think you'll find any body who has done it. Everybody does the exact opposite...

Yea, true. Either way it looks very possible to convert one to the other.
