Hey guys, I've got my LS1/TH400 trans in my 93 Camaro body; getting really close to finishing.

I'm getting the SLP Loudmouth I, but a friend of mine says he believes I need to get this kit: http://www.lmperformance.com/1576/2.html in order for it to fit onto my car.

Would anyone happen to know if this kit is necessary for sure? I don't want to drop an extra $100 for something I might not need. I can't tell by looking at the pics; why exactly would you need this kit? Oh and I have FLP headers (along with the cats and i-pipes that came with the kit) if that makes a difference.

I believe that kit is for putting an LS1 exhaust on an LT1 car with a single cat so you shouldn't need it for your swap.

i didnt even bother with any of the ill fitting catback ive seen. just bought a magnaflow muffler and had a shop build the exhaust from headers all the way back to the muffler. took this approach because i wanted everything to fit perfectly. got any pics of the 93 ls1 car?

You dont need that. Its for adapting the stock LT1 y pipe to the loudmouth.....
