Aftermarket TC's are the only way to go with an A4.
Yesterday i had my MW 3400 2.0 TC installed and i love it. It rained all day yesterday so i don't know the full performance of it yet but it's amazing what it does compared to the stock TC. One thing i like a lot about it is when from stop i let off the brake the car doesn't even move until i give it gas. To me i have more control over the car since the install. Jason over at Texas Drivetrain Performance did the install. Stalled A4's

You need to delete TM because the converter will be slipping until the stall speed which may result in a DTC code. If you have predator I think it automatically deletes it when you first install the program.

I did some WOT runs to about 60-80. I punched it from a stop and spin the tires almost all through 1st. On the 1-2 (shifts sloppy) shift it falls flat on it's face and, then it starts to pull hard again as the converter slips the rpms higher. Is this a TM issue? Also does a converter change, change the 30mph kick down on the 3.23 rear? I punched it from about 28mph and it didn't kick down as it did with the stock converter.
