Default LS1 SLP "FlowPac" Cold-Air Package

"New from SLP, the "FlowPac" combines our Cold-Air Induction Kit, High-Flow Air-Box Lid, F-Body Smooth Bellows, and K&N Air Filter to create a single, jointly engineered package worth up to 25 horsepower over stock. Save $30 over the cost of purchasing the parts individually"

Just wondering, has anyone bought this kit and intalled it on thier car??
If so, do you think it is worth it? Did you notice any extra power? Better MPG?
How well did it fit, I've heard of a couple people having trouble with the lid fitting. I've also heard of some people just getting the lid alone.... what do you think about that? And.. Where is the best place to buy from?

I'm considering buying either the whole package or just the lid and just wanted some feedback from someone who has already been down that road. Thanks guys.

i have never heard a positive review. the lid will cause a gain, but everything else is a waste of money. get a SSRA, FTRA or JAAM kit. Any lid will do the job. The filter is up to you.

I agree. Get a lid and filter, shop around for another cold air kit.

I bought it and it and I think it's worth it. You will definitly see improved throttle response and MPG improvement is nothing you will notice but I'm sure it's there. You might have issues with lid fitment but that's with any lid, not sure why that is, weird. Best place to buy from in my opinion is WS6store.com. Great prices, fast shipping and awesome customer service.

SLP gets bashed alot on here for being too expensive and their HP claims. I'll agree that their headers are ridiculously overpriced but their FlowPac and Loudmouth are quality products and reasonably priced as long as you don't buy direct from SLP.

When i first got into F-bodies i thought SLP was the **** and wanted everything i had to be SLP, but now the lid doesnt fit well i am going to get a FTP 85mm lid. The cat backs are nice though i bought the powerflo about a year ago and love it, it sounds good and went together well. For a lid they all seem the same just see what you can get a better deal on. Filters i like K&N but others will disagree.
