Default 4.10 gear too much?

Hi guys,

I have a heads/Cam/ Nitrous Trans am, with most bolt ons, and i would like to buy gears for it. it is mostly a street car. would 4.10s just wind out in no time on this car? Basically what im asking is 4.10, 3.90 or 3.73s. thanks guys!

4.10's are perfect for M6 cars. Thats what I have in my 9" If you have the stock 10 bolt and with the mods in your sig your 10 bolt is a ticking time bomb. Going to 4.10's will only make it more likely it will break.

My son has a 4.10 in his 10 bolt and it does 2000 rpm at 55 mph and 2400 rpm at 65. His car is an automatic in a 97 Camaro. It may go by bye some day, but he ran a 12.57 so far.
