Question Strange Rear – What size U-Joint??

Does anyone know the correct U-Joint size for a Strange 12-bolt for a 1999 Z28 (A4) with the OEM aluminum drive shaft?

Strange shipped me a Precision #447. However, according to a write-up that someone suggested on this forum a while back (http://members.aol.com/InjuneerZZ/Strange12.htm), the author states that the aluminum drive shaft uses a Precision #348 and that the #447 if for a steel drive shaft. Since the vendor I bought it from never asked about my drive shaft at the time I ordered, I tend think I got the right one. If someone knows the definitive answer, though, I would be appreciative. Thanks.

While I was waiting for my Denny's shaft, I used the #447 u-joint that came with my Strange for about a month with my OEM aluminum driveshaft (2000 SS M6) and it fit and worked just fine.

I tried to put my old aluminum drive shaft in with my new 12 bolt and it was to long. Period. I'm waiting on a new DS right now.
