Default Hello from Pittsburgh, PA. Entering the world of the LS1!

Hello,

My name is Sean, currently residing in the south hills area of Pittsburgh, PA. I am rather new to the V8 world, and have spent the last five years in the I4 world with my Hyundai's. Looking to purchase a 99-01 Corvette in the up coming months if I can find a good deal.

My current project car is a 1998 Hyundai Tiburon with 45,000 original miles on it. The modification list is as follows:

Engine:

Wiseco Pistons
ARP rod bolts
ARP head bolts
Custom secondary rail injector setup
Tial 50mm BOV
Tial 44mm external wastegate
Custom manifold
eBay T3/4 hybrid
Toga high volume oil-pump
Sparco intercooler
TurboXS manual boost controller
Koyo Radiator
OEM spark plug wires
NGK BKR8ES spark plugs
3" turbo back exhaust (Catco converter, 32" glasspack, no muffler)
Power steering delete
Air conditioning delete

Fuel/Management
Perfect Power SMT6
Bosch 470cc injectors
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
Walboro 255lph fuel pump
MSD DIS-II
AtelierHP turbo box
Innovative LC-1
Autometer boost/oil/exhaust gauges

Appearance
Original Kore front bumper
Kings side skirts
Acura blue paint job
Vent and headlight halo's
Spoiler delete
35% tint
Shark Racing carbon fiber hood

Suspension/Braking

OEM 12" big brake kit
Hawk front and rear brake pads
Stainless steel caliper lines
ROH 17x7 forged wheels
Yokohama Prada Spec II tires 225/40/17
Shark Racing front strut bar
Custom traction bars
Royal Purple MT-90
B&M short shifter

Another project car I had for a short time until I gave up on it was a 1998 Hyundai Accent. The car was a base model with no power steering or air conditioning. Jeff from 1st-Try Engineering and I took out the old 1.5l and swapped in a 2.0l and turbocharged it. I ran tired of the project and sold it for $1,500.

Also, had this interesting piece of car. This was the DragonFab Twin Engine Tiburon. I bought this sight unseen, kept it for about two weeks, and decided to cut my project and sell it. It's local in the city, but I hope I never see it again.

Thanks, and hopefully the comments will be somewhat positive!
