Default Will GM 6.0 gaskets work on a 4.080 bore?

Like the title says Im installing the heads on my LQ9 with a 4.080 bore and Im wandering if stock GM head gaskets will work. Thanks in advance!

6.0 are 4.045 = no go
need ls3/ls9/l92
4.1 bore = go
or some cometics

nope, the 6.2L is closer, I believe they are 4.070"

Try Cometics.

i would just go with cometics as well for that size bore

Thanks guys. Your right I should just go with cometics. I guess Ive gotta sit down and figure out what thickness I need... I ran 6.0s last time I pulled the heads but they leaked so I questioned the GM 6.0 gaskets. Thanks again.

You should run a good .015/020 size bigger than your bore or head chamber bore (which ever is bigger)

part # 12610046 LS3/L92 gasket is what you need.

Thanks again guys. Are the LS3/L92 head gaskets the same as the LQ4/LQ9 other than bore diameter?

Ahh good deal. Definitely not a bad thing. All the oil and coolent passages are the same Im guessing?
