Default Need help identifying 4l60e convertor

Ok so just curious if anyone can help identify the convertor in my car. Had Illinois Dyno Center put it in and not so sure its the one they told me it was. Here are the best pics i could get with it on jack stands laying under it.

Any help identifying this would be great! Thanks!!

Told me they were putting in a Vig3200... What is the price a fuddle would normally cost a consumer?

I got it installed about 11 months ago but still have all the paper work, only thing is the paper work doesnt say a brand just "Torque Convertor" and the price they had for the stall was right around $550 then there was install costs and all that. Would a fuddle be around that price?

That converter definitely is not a vig made at PI. That is a low budget stall converter from the looks of it. Like I said it looks like a fuddle but I could be wrong. The price sounds about right for what you got. Vince

Ok, thanks Vince for your help. If anyone else can identify it that would still be some good info for when i talk to the Illinois Dyno.

I think that is the Fuddle blue color. And like Vince said - It's a low budget stall. Good luck.

I was shocked when he told me it was a Vig, since I knew by the looks it was not. This looked like a cheap aftermarket converter to me.

I hope the shop takes care of you on this Joe since they told you a Vig. was going in the car.

Stopped out at IDC today and Jesse was real cool about the whole situation and let me know its not a Precision Industries but a Precision Inc convertor, He said he was gonna make some phone calls to the convertor company and look into some stuff and its still under warrenty so he said we'll get everything figured out even if that means pulling the convertor and getting it sent out for testing.

Precision Inc's website is- http://www.gopnh.com/

Larry if you read this before you check your voicemail could you check it and either call me back and leave a message if i'm at work or shoot me an email concerning what i mentioned in the voicemail.

Sorry to hear you didn't get what you thought you were buying Joe. But as Greg said here, I wouldn't recommend it either and definetly would look for better options. Good luck, and it was nice meeting you. Rick

Thanks Rick, but for right now i just gotta stick with what i got or see what Illinois Dyno can do for me as i have no money for a new convertor. Hopefully things go well and i can just race the car this year sometime lol. I can't really knock IDC much as they told me it was a precision and everything they said was true info i just thought it was a Precision Industries (Vig) but it was a Precision Inc, which was my fault for not clarifying. I'm sure IDC will be cool about it and help me get the whole situation figured out if there is something wrong with the convertor it's still under warrenty.
