Install Problems; Need Help Quick!
I am trying to do a cam swap and ran into a problem that I need some help with. I need to know if anyone can help steer me in the right direction on how to remove a ASP underdrive pulley? I went to InstallUniversity.com and their instructions say that there 'should' be a lip inside of the pulley about half way back that you can hook on to. Well mine does not. Can anyone please help me? Would like to at least still get the cam in tonight so I can finish up the heads tomorrow.

Does it have three holes in the center hub. If so you need a different type of puller that can be rented from your local autozone. I am not sure but i dont think you are supposed to pull pulleys back off from the outer hub. I recently did that on my SLP paper weight(caused KR) and it ripped the pulley apart.

You need a puller like this.

The threads in the pulley are not metric. You will need (3) 5/16 - 24 thread bolts about 1 1/2 inch long to use with the puller.

Go to Autozone and get this one. http://www3.autozone.com/servlet/UiB...c_balancer.jsp It's similar to the first one I posted and will work. You will get your money back when you return it. Just make sure the bolts you use to screw into the pulley are 5/16 - 24 thread or you will F/U the pulley.
