Default track results but questions

well this car of my buddies went a 11.1 at 120 with a 4l60 and a 3.23 with a 26" slick....now he used a calculator and figured he was spinning at 5000 rpm going through the traps, so if he changes his current setup without changing anything else and going with a 4.10 and 28" slick. the gear and tire he already has from a buddy, so its easier for him to have and change out.

can he reach 10's or not?
would it benefit the current setup or slow it down?
what could the e.t and mph be?
will it be just an overall better setup?
it should trap over 6000 rpm correct?

thanks

What is the max rpm of his setup?

Going by his mph and using 5k as the ceiling then his mph would be 101.8mph at 5,000rpms (4.10's and 28").
So in order to trap the same mph he'd have to spin it to 6k (121.90mph) to crest his old mph setup.

So if his redline is say 6500 then he should pick up et and mph and would cross the traps over 6k.

he can spin the engine to about 6800rpm with his setup, so he does have room for rpm

wow if he can spin to 6800 rpm i would definately go with the 28" tire and a 4.10 gear and call it the day if he already has it....you can get closer to the 10's but still very hard....a lot of stress on the factory 10 bolt...
