Default Another newbie Question (kinda long)

I am new to the site, and to LSX motors, so here goes. I am swapping a 2003 LM7 into a Porsche 928. I bought the motor from a boneyard and they failed to include the gas pedal assembly and wiring harness, since this is a drive by wire setup. My question is the pros and cons of EFI versus Carbuerators. This car is a weekend fun car that will go to a roadcourse 2 or 3 times per year. The main reason for the question has to deal with cost. I am on a tight budget, 3 kids in college, trying to weigh the cost of the Edelbrock setup versus the cost of a throttle body, harness mod and computer reprogram. Any thought or suggestions are very much appreciated.
