If you go with Darts, go with the 225's.

Yes, there should be no issues. Are you getting them assembled or non assembled? If assembled just bolt them on and go. You might want to check the lifter preload though, and to use the stock rockers you may have to grind off the locator tabs on the base.

the art of gaining power is to get as much air as you can in with smaller ports , i had the 205cc and loving it .

works well with stock pottom works fantastic with stealth cams and works greatly fantastic with big cams like G5x3 . got 422hp with no issue at all .

my recommondation to you get the 205 with MTI stealth cam if you want strong street car with stock idle .

If they are assembled you are pretty much setup, I would suggest adding some ARP head studs if you have the money. As for the preload you are looking for about 1.5 to 2 turns to torque the rocker arm. You start counting the turns after you get the rocker bolt tight enough so that the pushrod just barely rotates. I am sure there is a better way if you search on here to describe it. Mainly you are just checking the pushrod length. Some times different thickness in aftermarket heads will changes it a bit, as well as cams or lifter changes.

I agree on the 225's. Even though they are designed for the 4.0 bore they still seem to do better than the 205's on the 3.898 bore......

No, the chamber is wider. I had to use 6.0 gaskets when I ran my Dart 205's. Wait until you get the heads, measure chamber width to make sure the gasket doesn't hang into the chamber.

Really? That has been disproven many, many times.
