Default Raced a 6.0 GTO...

First race was from a dead stop on a huge onramp by my house that easily fit our cars...me in my 02 Z28, Borla catback only, against a buddies GT, and the GTO, which had a JBA catback and intake(both mine and his car were stick)...stomped em...let off shifting into 4th, had 4-5 cars on him, and my buddy in my car who drives an SVT shocked..

Second race was from 80 roll...shifted from 6th to 3rd ..we pulled but as soon as I hit fourth i had already pulled ahead and he had no chance..

Raced about 7 times from del mar to downtown, won everytime, kept getting told that the reason I was winning was apparently my gears were different? I looked at them and just laughed.

the GTO's gearing, from the MN12 tranny is actually laot better than the standard gearing in f-bods. it's true they dont match, but that makes no difference.

I had similar results when my car was stock for stock against 6.0s. Now put that MN12 in your and you'd be even quicker. Nice runs man!

Yeah I dunno, it's rough, but the car gets up and goes.

not at all, they just don't grab! lol i've been waiting for these things to wear down before i get some new tires, but they still have plenty of tread left. maybe it's time for me to be "that guy" doing burnouts in every parking lot

ive had mine for two years, rotated the front and rears about 7 months ago, and there is still a ton of tread on the rears.. and the fronts for that matter. they are a great cruising tire for the price

thats only like 4600 rpm, thats perfectly fine man. If youre rev matching when you downshift youve got nothing to worry about

Thank God you said that, I wasn't too sure about that, but I've gotten it done pretty smooth

There was a guy there that had a DSLR and took some pics of us downtown along the waterfront, I'll try and post them up here when I get them.

Yeah I got mine with my wheels off a forum member here, but I've got 275's up front and 285's in back, so no rotating for me...thinking about putting some money aside when the time comes to upgrade.
