which gears to buy, and 2-series?

which gears to buy, and 2-series? Was wondering which gear set is better richmond or motive? Want to get some 3.73's, but dont know which ones will be best. Richmond sell for more so those that mean they are better? And finally what does it mean by 2-series set?... thanks guys
