Default Paint matching?

I have recently painted my quarter panels and the paint is pretty close but not a perfect match. So I am going to try to fade the color into the door so the seem wouln't be noticable. My question is how far do you usually have to go into the panel to make it blend?

Thanks in advance.

Why did you not scan your color ? Almost every where they sell car paint, have a scanner. I did mine 3 week ago and its a perfect match.

If a remember correctly, make coverage you need, for blend, go 1/2 way 1/2 deluate, and at 3/4 at 1/4 more deluate. than clear the hole panel.

What color is your car? Paint fades, your going top have to blend it into the doors. It will save you alot of headaches if you go ahead and get it over with.

Its Arctic white and I just decided to go ahead and reshoot the doors too, I am doing the front fenders and quarters, I may as well freshen up the doors too and not worry about it.
