Just as the title says. I have and AMW catch can and my intake is full of oil. Any ideas why? On a side note, im sure the intake ports are just as dirty as the intake. Do you think that this could hurt power?

yes it can hurt power, also did you clean it before you installed the catch can?

Have you changed out the pcv valve? it is like 6 bucks and the new piece is better that they sell from GM.

How do you have your PCV system routed? The AMW does not function very well, the internal design is not good; it favors form over function.

How do the elite engineering cans go.
They're the only ones i can find that have the internal baffles.
All the rest are universal cans that need to be filled with stainless steel wool.

New heads, cam, and intake after the can. Yes I changed it to the valve cover type pcv

I have a pcv valve in the driverside valve (passenger side capped) cover going to the catch can, then to the intake for the dirty side and passenger side valve cover to the tb on the clean side. I was thinking of putting a t fitting to take dirty air from both valve covers...you think that will be ok?Which can would you recomend? I would like to do a dual can setup like yours. PM me if they are not a sponser. Also, what should I do about cleaning the intake? I was going to take it off and clean the intake and the ports on the head over the winter.

saikoumichi.com or revxtreme.com are currently the best going.

Here is your routing using dual catch cans. For a dual configuration I would recommend saikoumichi.com cans.

Ok time to bring this back from the dead lol...

Aaron, i ran my pvc as you told me too in post 7. I have a quick question. Should I cap off the passengerside dirty side? I may be wrond (and probrably am) but since the passengerside has both the clean and dirty, wont they cancel themselves out?

You can run it either way. Early on I recommended plugging this port, but now prefer to use the port on the dirty side as the diagram details.

Quick Reply: Have a catch can and im still getting oil in my intake!
