Go with a 26x10.5x16 or so. There is a pair for sale in the lsx parts already on salad shooters like yours.

Just go to summitracing.com and you can see all the sizes that are offered.

your not going to want to go over a 255 on stock 8in wheels. you can get away with a 26x10.5 on them tho.

You can fit a 26x11.50 on there too. I have a set mounted on 16x8 TA wheels for sale for $250 plus shipping with lots of life left if you're interested. The ET Streets really aren't as wide as advertised.

i have 295 m/t et streets mounted on 16x8 rims and have had no problems, they bulge a little but i dont think they look too bad.

first time out on them i got a 1.59 60ft on no track prep

26x11.5 et street is the way to go, also 26x10.5 either will work fine.

Just check that the tire will fit a 8" rim minimum to be safe. 11.5 isnt safe imo

With a big sidewall it can be safe.

They are perfectly fine man. Like I said, they aren't nearly as wide as you'd think. Probably the same width as the 255 M/T radials.

11.5x26 et steet is fine,

if you go to a 28" you can go to even wider. MT list there 285 (27.7) DR fitting. I run the 275 (28) M&H DR

Not arguing that people don't run it without problems. I just prefer not to exceed manu. specs

i am not sure how much power you are making but the 255 M/T drag radials dead hook on my 1.6x 60-ft times. i want to stay as thin as possible if it is dead hooking. no need for the additional weight.
