What's your take/experience with the ZEX system?

I have zero experience with NOS, would this be a good starter kit? I don't want to blow anything up so I'm thinking 50 to 75 would be the max I'd want to spray.

thanks

not a fan, buddy's mustang had a 18:1 on the dyno, due to the "zex" smart control box.

Go with the basic 5177 for simple, or a NX/TNT

NX is deffintly the way to go.ZEX recently released a true wet kit.It seems to be a good beginner kit.
We can help you out on either kit.

I've got a basically stock 1995 z28 m6 w/ a zex wet kit. The first race I did was with the 50shot jets against a 95 t/a m6 w/ a cc305, headers, cai, catback, etc, dyno'd at 335rwhp. I stayed with him from 60-120 till we shut down. I just put the 125 jets in today, and I would bet I'm putting down around 360ish rwhp and well over 400ft-lbs. The kit shouldn't take more than 3 hours to install. If you're gonna spray over 150 to the wheels, dont get a zex, they are rated at 180-190max, and thats at the flywheel.

I think about 50 is what I want to spray and ~100 to ~125 would be about the max I'd ever spray. 50 would make up for not building a stroker and I don't think would be too hard on the engine etc.

Anyone else have A/F with a ZEX on the dyno?
